Toby’s New Role
Moving over to real estate from a media background, Toby has spent the last few years with his finger on the pulse of the Sydney property market. Off to a great start with the SydneyLinks team, our Principal Agent Trisiana Muljono decided to make the most of Toby’s talents and develop his talent with the business as our Business Development Manager.
At SydneyLinks we are in the business of selling houses to buyers and homes to tenants. Toby’s new role, in support of our team, is to sell essentially sell SydneyLinks as a business to our network and community of clients. Through maintaining our well-established relationships with existing clients and seeking out new clients to join the SydneyLinks family, Toby creates a healthy balance between the two. “Talking to owners, growing rental rolls, building healthy relationships, they’re all part of creating that balance,” says Toby.

After several years with SydneyLinks, and 6 months in this new role, Toby has had the opportunity to work closely with Trish. Toby says, “Getting to work closely with Trish, after 19 years in the biz, has taught me so much”.
“Trish is a great mentor, she’s a generous boss and has taken me light years ahead professionally,” says Toby.
Here at SydneyLinks we are a tightly wound machine, working closely together to as a team. “Everyone is extremely supportive, both professionally and personally. The two years I have spent here has been like time spent with family”.
“I get to work closely with Trish and Simon (Hohnen). I see how they work and get to apply how they approach their work to myself,” says Toby.
When it comes to the year head, Toby is looking forward to his role as Business Development Manager, “The challenge of achieving goals I have set with Trish is something I am looking forward to. We are focused on increasing our rent roll and providing quality service to owners”.
