Darlinghurst to Pyrmont
Darlinghurst, Potts Point, Woolloomooloo and Pyrmont are following a similar trend as we end the year.
Generally, one bedroom and studio apartments are the standout properties attracting rental increase recovery. Most are seeing a return of increases between 5% and 15%, the luckier ones being at the higher end of this increase.
From SydneyLinks perspective, similar increases on return of investment for rental properties are the result of several factors.
Firstly, the market is recovering, which means there are naturally increases for some properties. Secondly, our Principal Agent Trish has placed focus on property management and shifted some of her work load away from sales to take advantage of the market recovery. Lastly, SydneyLinks has made use of two interior designers and stylists to ensure rennovations and property makeovers are done correctly to attract that investment return increase.
Although growth is slow, we expect it to continue to grow in the new year.
