Embracing New Beginnings

As we near the end of a transformative year, the SydneyLinks team reflects on how people’s lifestyles and habits have changed in a post-Covid world without the restrictions of the previous year.

Beginning in 2023 we were all able to start going about our regular lives and renter society in new ways. While many people sought adventure, travel, big moves, and took more risks, others were cautious, seeking traditional values and reflecting on what was truly important in their lives.

This kind of mixed response was reflected in the property market as we saw a mixed bag of activity from sales to rental properties, vendors and tenants. Regardless of what action people took, everyone seemed to be taking a new approach to how they had done things prior.

Even amongst our team, in relation to property, we found ourselves having to pivot and react to the ever-changing property market, government legislations, rate changes and people’s individual reactions to each of these things.

Upon reflection, as we look forward to 2024, we like to think next year will be a time to be proactive with our decisions and intentions rather than reactionary. We all deserve time to have a break, recharge and reflect on the year that has been 2023.
