SydneyLinks real estate starts a new series of events
Here at SydneyLinks real estate we enjoy getting in touch with our social side and keep in-tune with the local community. Following the success of our recent Infotainment night, the team will continue themed events in 2017. The aim of the events will be to provide light entertainment for clients, their friends and the community while providing complimentary educational sessions on all things property.

Our recent Infotainment evening was a great success with our three guests, Stephen Sim, Wayne Shapiro and Karen Macalister-Hohnen.
Simon kicked off the night introducing Auctioneer, Radio Host and Master of Ceremonies Stephen Sim. Stephen is a present from one of Australia’s largest community radio stations, the North Shore’s FM 99.3 He has been Master of Ceremonies at some of Sydney’s biggest events including, the annual “Granny Smith Festival” which attracts a crowd of 80,000 people, the annual North Ryde “Carols by Candlelight Spectacular” and the prestigious “Piano Dream Concert” at the Sydney Opera House.
Our Auctioneer & MC Wayne Shapiro provided our guests with the ins and outs of the auction process from pre-auction sales to post auction day procedures. We also took a look at what properties are best suited to auctions by taking a closer look at our recent auction property, 1206/73 Victoria Street, Point. The property was popular, well placed and priced, selling for $880,000 at auction.
The lovely Karen Macalister-Hohnen, Wine Educator, delighted our guests with seasonal wines. We got to taste a variety of local and international wines and learnt a thing or two about which wines are best suited to the events we have during the festive season.
We can’t wait to continue the events series in 2017 and look forward to sharing knowledge and having a bit of fun with the local community.
