What’s next at SydneyLinks

The team is back together, celebrations are ahead and a new property valuation service is in development

There is plenty happening behind the scenes at SydneyLinks as we move towards the end of the year. It is a period of renewed energy for the team, with familiar faces returning and new services taking shape.

We are delighted to welcome Tracy Yells back from leave. Tracy returns to her role as Assistant Property Manager and brings extensive knowledge of our properties, owners, tenants and interior styling. Having Tracy back means the SydneyLinks team is once again working together at full capacity. For our clients, that means the benefit of a connected team across property management, sales and administration.

It is also nice to have everyone together as we head into the social side of spring and summer. The team is looking forward to celebrating Melbourne Cup at Nick’s Seafood Restaurant in Sydney. It will be a chance to step away from the office and enjoy an afternoon together.

Back at SydneyLinks, we are also working on an important new service for property owners. SydneyLinks is currently in the process of establishing a property valuation service.

A market appraisal provides an informed estimate of what a property may sell or rent for in current conditions. It draws on local knowledge, comparable properties and recent market activity. The new valuation service will go further. We are working towards providing formal property valuations that can be used for purposes requiring an independent and recognised assessment of value. This may include situations where a valuation is required by a bank or for Australian Taxation Office purposes. Formal valuations can be relevant for finance, taxation and other financial or legal requirements.

For property owners, having access to both services through SydneyLinks will provide greater flexibility. Sometimes you simply want to understand what your property could achieve in today’s market. At other times, you need a formal valuation for a specific purpose.

The new service also builds on SydneyLinks’ extensive experience across Sydney’s inner city property market. Our team manages a significant portfolio of rental properties and has a long history of sales across Potts Point and surrounding suburbs.

We look forward to sharing more details about the valuation service once it becomes available.
