And We’re Off – Market Expose

The New Years Property Market

It’s February 2018 and the new year has well and truly begun. At the end of 2017, property enquiries and rental enquiries didn’t slow. This momentum carried right through the Christmas and New Year period without slowing down. Over the festive season some of our team, and our Principal Agent Trisiana Muljono, were on hand to help with all of our customer enquiries and keep the property market alive and well in Potts Point.

“Currently there is a shift in demand between vendors and buyers. Vendors are asking more than buyers are prepared to pay. Properties are more challenging to sell in the current market but we are up for the challenge,” says Trisiana.

Although interest has remained steady, the market started off this year with a change to what we have been used to. A result of current stringent lending criteria, the expectations of vendors and buyers aren’t on par.

“The rental market shows continued growth. We increased our rental list by 70 last year and this will be a big focus for us in 2018,” says Trisiana
